“Dear Colleagues,

After a very positive experience in Lund in April 2013, we are happy to announce the call for application for the second edition of the PhD Seminar on VAT and indirect taxes, to be held in Louvain-la-Neuve on May, 7 2014..

The aim of the Seminar series is to invite PhD candidate to gather and to discuss their research topics together with more experienced researchers. We are aiming primarily at law researchers in VAT. However, we are open to participation from researchers focusing on indirect taxes other than VAT (e.g. in excises or customs duties).

The 2014 seminar is scheduled to take place in Louvain-la-Neuve (25km from Brussels) on May, 7, 2014. We are now looking for suitable candidates to participate.
If you know of one, please forward the invitation to them. And please spread information of this seminar to anyone you think may be interested.

For further information, please see the attached invitation.

If you have any questions on the Louvain-la-Neuve seminar, please contact Edoardo Traversa a tedoardo.traversa@uclouvain.be.

Kind regards,

Professor Edoardo Traversa (Université Catholique de Louvain and WU Vienna),

Professor Rita de la Feria (Durham University),

Professor Joachim Englisch (Münster University),

Associate Professor Oskar Henkow (Lund University),

Professor Ben Terra (Lund University)”
